Sawako's father is a short man with a height of 160cm, or 5'2. He has black hair like Sawako's, and wears glasses regularly. He is seen wearing a different variety of clothes.

Sawako's father seems to usually have a calm, cheerful personality. He also shows a emotional side, as an overprotective dad, as seen when he learns Sawako has friends and she is dating Shota Kazehaya.

He often gets jealous of her relationships, over the fact that she chooses to see her friends instead of spending holidays with the family, and ends up crying and fretting over the facts.

When introduced to Sawako's friends, Ayane Yano and Chizuru Yoshida, he shows a "scared" or "shocked" reaction, however after awhile he grows to accept Ayane and Chizuru as nice girls.

Youko Kuronuma

Youko is his wife and the mother of their only child, Sawako. They are very close and seem deeply in love with each other, but Youko still seems to enjoy watching her husband have meltdowns when Sawako chooses to see her friends over spending holidays with the family.

Sawako Kuronuma

Sawako is his daughter and only child, they have a very close father-daughter bond. But soon he will realize that Sawako is much happier than before and that she has already grown up.

Shouta Kazehaya

Kazehaya is the boyfriend of his only daughter. When Sawako calls him to inform him that her boyfriend will come to dinner with them, he became so nervous that he hung up without being able to say a word. On their first meeting he checks if Kazehaya is appropriate enough to be his daughter's boyfriend, by putting him in various tests, asking him several times if he is serious about dating her and makes sure he will behave and treasure his beloved daughter. Slowly he grows to accept him and states that he is a nice guy.
