From Now On is the 10th episode of the series Kimi ni Todoke Season 2.
Synopsis[]
At the start, the episode opens with Sawako and her class finishing up costume preparation for the costume parade the following day. Everyone finds out that Yui has a crush on Andy, a fellow classmate of theirs. They ask Sawako for her thoughts on the manner, and her opinion on what Yui should do. While the costume parade is the next day, the float the boys have been working on is no where to be finished, even after a long, restless night.
Its the day of the costume parade, and everyone is getting dressed up and prepped. When everyone is dressed, they line-up in the hallways waiting for the parade to start, and Ayane tells Kazehaya that Sawako spent all night working on his costume, which leads him to find her. When they meet eachother, they both are flustered, and they thank eachother for the text messages sent the following night. Soichi is eager to get Kazehaya's attention, but due to Kazehaya already talking to Sawako, he makes it clear to Soichi he is talking to Sawako, which later causes Soichi to get dragged away by Ryu, Ayane and Chizuru. During this conversation, Sawako thanks Kazehaya for the time they had on New Years Eve, as she didn't have the courage earlier. She brings up how she would like to start fresh on their relationship, as whatever they face in the future they will be by each-others side. In the end of their conversation, Kazehaya yells to Sawako that he likes her, which makes it public to the school.
During the parade, we can see what each students role is in their performance. Each students roles are unique, the most notable being Sawako as a ghost and Ryu as a bull. The parade also shows how Sawako has blended with the class in the end, which is her being good friends with everyone, instead of being the "scary girl" everyone saw her as. As class 2-D approaches the judges, we see Sawako's solo, which is meant to be creepy and unsettling, as she is a ghost. She crawls up to the judges desk and offers a drink, which they deem as bribery. The results are out for the entire festival, and class 2-D wins the vending booth competition, all because of Sawako's "Black Magic Booth". Unfortunately, the excitement from winning is short lived, as class 2-D is disqualified by bribing the judges. This causes Pin to become outraged, as he needed to come out on top to not embarrass himself infront of his co-workers.
At the end of the episode, it closes out with another conversation between Sawako and Kazehaya, as she claims she wants Kazehaya, and that he feels the same. We then get a series of heartwarming pictures of class 2-D, and Kazehaya and Sawako touching foreheads while smiling.
