Chapter 56 - From Morning to Night

The main cast, on a field trip to Okinawa, visit the Churaumi Aquarium. On the way, Sawako tells a ghost story, and before they enter, she takes a group photo together with her class. Afterwards, at the beach, they witness Kurumi turning down another guy that hit on her. Joe then reveals that Ryu rejected a girl from Class 2-C. Finally, Ayane goes on her date with Mogi, in which they kiss. But after returning to their hotel for the night, Ayane encounters Pin and asks if he ever loved anyone before.

Chapter 57 - Kiss

Chizuru and Sawako hear that Ayane kissed on her first date with Mogi. Sawako continues to be terrified at the prospect of kissing anyone, even waking up from a dream in which she kisses. During a trip to one of the Ryukyu Islands, Shouta and Sawako try pottery painting, and later receive their fortunes together. When they return to their group, they notice Chizuru being confronted by Suname, the girl that Ryu had turned down. When Suname brings up the suggestion that Chizuru should stay away from Ryu, Chizuru yells back angrily, causing Suname to run away in tears. Later that night, Mogi arrives late for his second date with Ayane, and is thus denied a kiss, while Ryu and Chizuru argue over what happened earlier. Finally, Sawako sees Shouta again, who had been waiting for her from the baths. They awkwardly attempt to move close to each other.

Chapter 58 - How to Act

Sawako and Shouta's attempt to kiss each other goes wrong for both of them, as they were caught in the attempt by Ayane, who was looking for her cellphone. Ayane promises not to reveal the incident. She also reveals that her date didn't last due to her losing her cellphone. Ayane and Sawako awkwardly return to their hotel room where Chizuru already is, and Chizuru denies that anything happened. Meanwhile, Shouta returns to his hotel room and talks with Ryu.

Chapter 59 - Free Time

The main cast have one last day in Okinawa, in which they can go where they want. Pin notices Shouta and Sawako being awkward around each other, and later on, Chigusa from Class 2-C notices as well. Things also get awkward between Chizuru and Ryu, as Joe, who is also with them, brings up the girl that Ryu rejected. After Joe leaves the two of them behind, Ryu confesses to Chizuru once more. Meanwhile, after returning from shopping, Ayane happens to hear a conversation between Mogi and his friends, in which Mogi admits to not making progress. Thus, Ayane breaks up with Mogi, and Kento happens to be the first person Ayane reveals the breakup to. She ends up crying at the thought of seeing her two best friends in love. Kento gives a hug in response.

On the day they leave Okinawa, the cast find out that their tour guide rejected Pin.

Author's Note

"This is volume 14! After debating which characters to put on the front cover, I decided to use Ayane and Chizuru. Then, curious what my comment about the cover was in the last volume, I went and checked it. Turns out I wrote something just like this! What if I wrote the same thing two volumes ago as well...? I'm too afraid to look. I can't remember anything anymore. The flower I drew with Sawako this time is a clematis. I love clematis flowers!"
