Keisuke Ando (安藤 啓介, Andō Keisuke), nicknamed Andy, is a minor character in the series. In episode 10 of the second season, it appears that Yui has a crush on him.
Appearance[]
Andy is often seen as a background character with Joe and Kazehaya in the class. He bears black eyes, beige skin, and dark brown hair that is similar to Kazehaya's.
Personality[]
According to the many of the female classmates of Sawako and her friends, Andy is a great guy. Sawako also tells Yui that she thinks he's perfect for her, leading many of her other friends to agree.
Trivia[]
- According to the KARUPIN on JAPAN 01 sidebar in the second volume of Kimi ni Todoke: Soulmate, Karuho Shiina had planned for Andy to become Kurumi's eventual boyfriend; however, Kurumi had matured more quickly than the author expected and the plan was dropped.
Etymology[]
- The first kanji (啓) in Keisuke's name means "disclose" or "open." While the second kanji (介) in his name can mean "assist", it is also a typical ending for boy's names and can be ignored.
- His surname, Andō, means "peaceful wisteria"
